How Creative Green Living Started

Our CEO, Carissa Burk, started blogging about crafts and DIY in 2006 on a site initially named Carissa's Creativity Space.

When her first son was born in 2010, she saw that lots of other moms were interested in learning about the kinds of green and sustainable choices she was making for her family.

From cloth diapers to homemade baby food and nontoxic nursery decor, she started writing articles and publishing them.

In 2013, Carissa's Creativity Space rebranded to become Creative Green Living!
