I made this project in 2013 as part of a partnership with Stampendous (the rubber stamp company).
I have since started an entire website dedicated to painted rocks and I thought this project would be more at home over there. The tutorial is still online - it's just moved!
To get the tutorial and supply list, just click over to How to Paint Rocks with Stamps on I Love Painted Rocks
The rocks are so cute! I love butterflies and these stamps are beautiful. :)

ReplyDeleteFun idea for my preschool class. Kids love rocks and stamping! I would make these for my garden!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea. my granddaughters are coming this weekend. this is a great project for them. first to find the rocks then to pick out what to stamp on them.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant ideas. Thanks for the tip about peeling the stamp off the block before trying to stamp.
ReplyDeleteI just read about you on the Stampendous blog and wanted to see how you stamped on the stones. This will be fun. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Carissa,
ReplyDeleteI just received your email notifying me of wining the stamps. I want to thank you and Stampendous for their generosity. In addition to being a coincidence that I was showing my grandson to stamp on rocks is the fact that his name is Sage too!
Thanks so much again!

You're welcome! These stamps are awesome. You're going to love them.
ReplyDeleteLove the rocks...I can just see them in my flower beds =) I'll be off on a rock hunt tonight!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised I didn't comment on this project back when you first posted it. This was my first introduction to your blog and I was (and am still) so enthralled with this idea. I didn't make any of these last summer, but maybe I can this year.
